The most awaited iPhone 5 has been delayed and iPhone 4S is instead launched by the Apple recently. Since this handset is much alike to the iPhone 4 created by Apple only, it can be taken as a modified version of the same. There are some changes and some similarities in these handsets and you should check out the comparison to make a better purchase.
The processor :
To start with the processor of these Apple iPhones, both of them have the same processor. It is impossible to distinguish the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with its processor as there is not a single difference in them. It was highly expected that the processor would be bit thinner or lighter, but leaving all the expectations behind, it has not been given any change or modification. However, the Apple claims that the iPhone 4S is 3G lighter than the iPhone 4 but it has not been confirmed yet.
The hardware :
The hardware of iPhone 4S is A5 dual core in comparison to the single core of iPhone 4. You can enjoy up to seven times faster graphics through this revised hardware. This definitely makes a huge difference in the performance of the iPhone 4S and proves it to be a better option for making a purchase.
The software :
Talking about the software, you can find an upgraded software in iPhone 4S in form of IOS 5. The earlier version, iPhone 4 was equipped with IOS 4. This difference would enable you to enjoy some good features like a notifications centre, improved lock screen, Imessage for instant messages and better Twitter integration which was not possible in iPhone 4 with IOS 4.
The camera :
The iPhone 4 was equipped with 4MP camera which is revised to 8MP camera in its latest version iPhone 4S. This camera can provide you better pictures during day as well as during night or low light. The efficiency of this camera has been tested and proved to be good enough to capture good quality videos during bad light or weather. This was surely not possible with the iPhone 4. The face detection feature has also been introduced in this latest version which was absent in the previous model.
Storage :
The iPhone 4S is given a big storage capacity so that you may store and view your memorable pics and videos anytime and anywhere. This capacity has been increased from 32 GB of iPhone 4 to 64 GB of iPhone 4S. You can also find these iPhone models with 16 GB and 32 GB storage capacities.
Antenna and connectivity :
The iPhone 4 was having some antenna issues which have been sorted out in its latest version iPhone 4S. Two antennas have been provided with iPhone 4S for better connectivity and call quality. The iPhone 4 is having LTE technology which has been upgraded to HSDPA technology in iPhone 4S. This makes the iPhone 4S better with 3G speed.
In every term, the iPhone 4S is much better than the iPhone 4. If you are planning to make an immediate purchase of an iPhone, it would be better to go through all the features and than decide the best one for the requirement. With some similarities and some upgradations, iPhone 4S is not a bad deal for anyone.
