UK’s satellite TV provider, Sky TV has introduced new App for iPhone and iPad that will let you enjoy watching your favorite sports on the move. The Sky Go, iPhone and iPad application allow accessing five sports channels plus selected number of Movie and news channels. In short now you can carry your TV in your pocket while you are on the move.
Sky Go iPhone App is the successor to Sky’s preceding app, Sky Mobile TV. Sky Go provides great numbers of channel, however this iPhone app is not compatible with 1st Generation iPod touch, iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G in other words you can say it works with iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 3, 4 iPad, and iPad 2. Here the thing that makes Sky lovers disappoint is, none of the Sky entertainment channels are included. For now this only caters the UK and ROI customers.
This app is completely free but you may need to pay applicable mobile network and/or Wi-Fi charges. It is highly recommended to have bandwidth of 2Mb per second if you wish to access high quality streams.
